Julie Abiecunas is the CEO at JRC. With a strong background in non-profits and disability services, she graduated from the University of Akron in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Family and Child Development and a minor in Human Resources. Julie has been a dynamic presence at conferences like OCALI autism, Milestones Autism Organization, and Ohio State's Multiple Perspectives, sharing her expertise. She also co-chaired the Ohio Provider Resource Association's Day Services Committee and served on the Child Care Advisory Council. Julie's commitment extends to various boards, including Ronald McDonald House and as a past member of VANTAGE Aging. Currently, she serves on the Board of Trustees for Stark Family Council and the Program Committee for Ronald McDonald House. Notable accomplishments include graduating from the 2021 Leadership Stark County Spotlight Program and receiving the 20 under 40 award from the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2022. She's also a graduate of the 2022-2023 Leadership Stark County Signature Program, embodying leadership and dedication in her community work.
